With the recent release of WordPress 2.6.1, it certainly took me quite some time before I upgraded this NeoHide.org WordPress blog site to this latest version. As there is always limited traffic coming into this site, hence I am not too worried about the bugs and critical fixes, as much as I would feel for the main NeoHide.com site.
In addition, I have upgraded the main NeoHide.com website to the last stable version of Drupal 4.7.11. Whilst many may be critical about my arrogance of refusal to upgrade to the major release of 5.x or 6.x, I have my reasons to do so. Making a huge jump to the latest release can be critically dangerous to my site – especially if the upgrade is not successful, it could render the entire site to be fatal.
I’m definitely taking a slow step one-at-a-time, to ensure that by making a major upgrade, it is going to be pretty safe.
