For a period of time, our site has been running on the older WordPress 2.6.x version. Seeing that WordPress developers have been constantly upgrading and fixing the bugs on its latest version, we take no chance at allowing such vulnerabilities to take place on our site.
As such, we took the big step and made proceed with an upgrade from version 2.6.x to 2.8.4.
On the other hand, at our main site, we too performed an upgrade on the CMS engine to keep it up-to-date with the latest Drupal release.
